Natural Cholesterol Balance was developed by the company’s two founders, Lawrence D. Rink, MD, FACC and Stephen T. Carney.

 

Lawrence D. Rink, MD, FACC

Dr. Rink is a practicing cardiologist in Bloomington, IN, where he is affiliated with multiple hospitals. After graduating from DePauw University, he received his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine. He completed his internship at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX, and his residency at I.U. Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his fellowship at I.U. Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Critical Care Medicine.

Stephen T. Carney, Managing Director

Stephen T. Carney is the founder and President of Carney Capital Management in East Greenwich, RI. Founded in 1998, the company specializes in investment management of personal, corporate and retirement assets. Prior to Carney Capital, Mr. Carney was Department Head of Fleet Bank’s Pension and Profit Sharing area, where his responsibilities included sales and marketing, administration, documents and tax reporting. He formulated the plan for Fleet Bank’s entry into the 401K market in 1983. He has also worked as director of investment sales for several banks, all of who have been absorbed into larger banks. Mr. Carney holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Villanova University. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter designation in 1974 with studies at American College and Wharton School of Business. He is a Vietnam Veteran, serving with the United States Marine Corps.
